SINGAPORE Two Singapore men have lost court appeals and are to be hanged for the murder of a Bulgarian woman, reports said Tuesday. The victim, 26-year-old Iordanka Apostolova, had been living in Singapore where she was enrolled in a computer course. Her body was found in a Singapore canal in January, with multiple cuts on her neck and a bag of rocks tied to her leg.

Shaiful Edham Adam, 22, and Norishyam Mohamad Ali, 26, were accused of acting together in slashing the woman with a chopping knife and throwing her body into the canal. (AFP)
